We went island hopping for (P750ea). As usual, we went snorkeling, then Island hopping at Crystal Cove (P200ea entrance) and then another island for lunch.
We enjoyed the Crystal Cove at least there's a lot of scenic views here.
For the first cove
Then the second cove, where we need to pass thru a small tunnel-like cave.
Then off we went to another island for lunch. (I forgot the name -- I'm really not good at names)
After this, we had reef walking / helmet diving. It's like having a prenup shot underwater. But the pictures are not so good. Will upload it next time ;)

Balikbayan Inn & Bamboo Beach Resort Review
Since we arrived late at Kalibo Airport (12:40AM Oct 13) we need to stay somewhere and continued with our journey the next day.
We stayed at Balikbayan Inn. But because of the Typhoon Ramon, there's a misunderstanding with the Airport pickup to their Inn. We took a tricycle which costs us P200 going to their place. And they were sleeping peacefully, a miscommunication with the agency and them.
I didn't like the place, it's kinda creepy. It's clean but it smells like old wet house.
At boracay, we stayed at Bamboo Beach Resort for P5600 (3D/2N). The room is not that clean and it's quite small. I was not able to take a pic because I'm already hungry for lunch. But the people there are very accomodating and friendly.

In one week time, we will be in Bora. This weekend I need to pack our things since we will be having a night flight on Wednesday. We need to be at the airport at 8PM.So that means I need to leave the office at 5PM.
I told John that I think we need to just bring back pack since it's sandy. But he said that we could bring luggage. Well, he'll be the one to do the carrying.
Here's my list of things to Bring:
IMPORTANT:
- Flight itinerary
- Hotel Voucher
- Camera, Ebook reader, Cellphone
- Charger for Camera, ebook
- Pocket Money, ATM, Credit card (since there are ATMs and establishments that accept credit card)
CLOTHES:
- good for 3 days and 3 nights
FOR SWIMMING:
- Aquazorb towel
- Swim wear (2pc, sando, shorts, rash guard)
- Snorkel
TOILETRIES:
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Soap, PH care
- Lotion
- Sunblock
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste & Toothbrush
- Cologne
MEDICINE:
- My ever reliable Katinko (for itch)
- Biogesic, Diatabs, Nasatapp, Alaxan
- Betadine, Cotton, Alcohol
- We need to bring Anti-histamine meds (Since John recently acquire an allergy)
I think I'll be having hard time packing the clothes, what to wear for party and for the day's activity.
So I really need to start this weekend. ^-^

Good bye BOHOL
Time flies fast when you're having fun. Or rather since we don't want to go back to work yet. ^-^
Till our next getaway. I thank God for this opportunity and keeping us safe. ^-^

Sea Tour (Day 4) - Happy Birthday to ME
I really set this tour for my birthday so it would be relaxing.
We paid P1600 for the Seatour which is reasonable since the place is very far. Evidence that it's far is that John can sleep during the travel.
We woke up early and ready at 5:30 or 6 for the Dolphin Watching. Well, I got disappointed cause I thought we would be seeing the Dolphin up close. Instead, we will just wait for the dolphin to come out and if you get to see them that's it! So i was not able to capture a nice video or pic. (too bad) But we were able to see one dolphin jumping and spinning. But he didn't repeat it. :(
Waiting for the dolphins |
Then we go Balicasag Island to snorkel. We pay P150each for the guide in the snorkeling site and P100 each for the aqua shoes. I also bought skyflakes for the fish.
Balicasag shore |
Fish Attack!!! Just a small crumb of skyflakes and they all went to my direction.
After an hour we get tired and decided to go to the next stop. We went to the Virgin Islands and just walk down the long stretch of land and then go back to the boat.
That concludes the Sea Tour it's only a half day activity.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we just freshen up and and check out Bohol Beach Club. We had lunch at BBC and just took a nap at their duyan.
I slept for at least an hour cause I get so sleepy with if it's hot and windy.
Then went to back to Dumaluan resort and decided to just explore the place.
To cap off the night had a satisfying meal. Happy days indeed!
Country side Tour (Day 3)
For our Day 3 we did the Country Side tour. It only costs P2000 from Kuya Tatsky's services and P400 for the Loboc River Cruise lunch and P100 for the entrance.I forgot how much we shelled out for the entrance but it's cheap.
We start off at Bohol Bee Farm
We tasted almost all of them which is good as breakfast and buy 2k worth of pasalubong.
I'm now a fan of avocado, we tried the Malunggay ice cream and Avocado Ice cream.
Then to the Blood compact site - This particular site was made in honor of a very important event in the Philippine history done between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol.
This Sikatuna-Legaspi blood compact is considered as the First Treaty of Friendship between two different races, religions, cultures and civilizations. It was a treaty of friendship based on respect and equality. This event is commonly known as “Sandugo”.

Baclayon Church and Museum - The Church of Immaculada Concepcion in Baclayon is considered to be one
of the oldest in the Philippines. Construction began in 1717 where some
200 native forced laborers (obras pias) cut and dragged coral blocks
from the sea, using only bamboos in moving and lifting the stones in
position.
Millions of white eggs were said to have been used as cement. The current building was completed in 1727.

SAINT PIO
Saint Pio was born of simple, hardworking farming people on May 25, 1887, in Pietrelcina, Southern Italy. He was tutored privately until his entry into the Capuchin Friars at the age of 15. Of feeble health but strong will, with the help of grace he completed the required studies and was ordained a priest in 1910.
On 20 September 1918, the five wounds of our Lord's Passion appeared on his body, making him the first stigmatized priest in the history of the Church. Countless numbers were attracted to his confessional and many more received his saintly and spiritual guidance through correspondence. His whole life was marked by long hours of prayer and continual austerity. His letters to his spiritual directors reveal the ineffable sufferings, physical and spiritual, which accompanied him all through his life. They also reveal his very deep union with God, his burning love for the Blessed Eucharist and our Blessed Lady. Worn out by over half a century of intense suffering and constant apostolic activity in San Giovanni Rotondo, he was called to his heavenly reward on 23 September 1968.

There is also the Loboc church but we didn't went there since it's close on weekdays.
Prony the Phyton -John don't want to have his picture taken with Prony. But for the sake of experience I gather up my courage and do it. But I can't touch him/her cause he might not be in a good mood or something.
We bought the peanut butter kisses and peanut cookies. They said that it's cheapest here.

Then Lunch at LOBOC river
People suddenly went crazy dancing, I just wanted to join and have my picture taken. Also, I wanted to try out the tinikling and see if I can still do it but I'm kinda shy. (as usual)
Man - made Forest - They started planting Mahogany Trees years ago to prevent landslides. And now it became a tourist attraction of Bohol.
Butterfly Conservation Center- It's nice to have educational trip such as this. I learned that the caterpillar or higad of a butterfly is not itchy. The ones that are itchy are caterpillars of a moth. I'm a victim of a caterpillar when I was a kid so since then I don't like them.
Chocolate Hills viewing deck - It's very hot and tiring but need to go up the long stairs to see all those green hills. It's chocolate during summer season (I think) since the leaves are drying up. I really thought that we can climb a hill but since it's mostly rocks and small trees our tour guide said that it would be difficult.
I can't even have a jump shot taken near the edge since it's quite slippery.
Tarsier sanctuary - They are the smallest primates on Earth. They are located in like a big cage and we can't really find them if not for the leaf coverings.
Hanging Bridge - Just had our picture taken and cross the bridge.
Our Driver/Tour Guide Kuya RIC |
Hinagdanan Cave - The photographer/guide is great. He knew how to set the DSLR that we brought. He knew spots on where we could have a great photo taken. And he's very entertaining. He always say words like "fabulous , awesome, great, lovely". LOL!
I've been a love the Sagada cave and since then it's been my standard. So I don't really appreciate the Hinagdanan Cave. But it's okay. :)
We bought the most of the shirt pasalubong here.

That concludes our Country side tour in Bohol. It's very tiring so we didn't went out for dinner and just rest and sleep.
