EAT DANAO Tour (Day 2)

For Day 2 (Sep 4) We went to DANAO for Extreme/Eco/Educational Adventure Tour (EAT). Kuya Tatsky's tour cost P3000 + P400 since we will be going to Mag-aso falls.

It's 2 hours drive from the hotel so we always had a quick nap.

Upon arriving at the place, we registered right away. We paid for the suislide (P350), Rappel (P600) and Plunge (P700).

We tried the suislide first. It's not really thrilling since I've tried it before in Davao which is the longest zipline (I think). Look how well protected we are.

Since the queue at the Plunge is quite long, we just tried the Rappel next. I thought it's fun and easy but it's not. It's hard and very challenging. It's 60m long and it's not what I had imagine. At the middle of the rappel I had to give up and let Manong take control.

All set to Rappel ... Nice and easy at the start ... ^-^

It's time to go up ... whew!

After that rappelling is the PLUNGE -- I have a separate post on that. We even got a certificate for conquering it! yipee!

After the Plunge

After the tiring day activities had buffet lunch at the place for P300 per person.

Then off we went to Mag-aso Falls.I've been to Baler falls (twice) many years back and still prefer it. It's clear and clean despite the cottages that are built near the falls. Here at Mag-aso falls, we cant even get near the falls. The water is moss green. And like all other falls it's very cold. But still we decided to take a dip since I feel sticky from the extreme adventures that we just did.

Long way down
The Mag-aso Falls is one of Bohol’s natural treasures. With a height of 25 feet, the twin falls is picturesque against a backdrop of tall trees, wild plants including giant ferns, and deep ravines. Once on the site, while bathing and surrounded by the natural landscape, one feels immersed in a middle of a jungle with the sound of the interminable chirping of the birds and the rush of flowing waters playing music to your ears.

Carved out under the cascading waters is a pool, naturally deep under the falls and shallower at the rim with a deep ravine at one side and the other side a bit developed with concrete steps and shelters.
